The author tells the story of Laslo, who is feeling lucky -- until, that is, a cat makes off with the beautiful red rose Laslo hopes to bestow on the actress who is the object of his affection. During the reading Steve describes the numerous superstitions related to theater that appear in the book, and invites readers to spot them.
